We all live in the world, as if of the world. Babaji’s eternal and glorious message is forever to be within the world, but not of it. Know your soul and you know all. The origin of the world is within your soul. The Light of the soul is the illuminator of the universe. Let your love for and your loyalty to Truth, which is Existence-Consciousness-Bliss Absolute, be first kindled within you at the bottom of your heart. God or Atman or Brahman is the only Truth.
With firm and unswerving stand on this Truth that passes all understanding, make yourself death-proof, birth-proof, world-proof and proof against all temptations of matter and mind. Shake off tainted-consciousness and realize Truth-consciousness. Turn yourself to the full light that shines beyond this broken lamp of mind, cease to live in the body-center and regain the rapturous serene light of Self-realization by living beyond the body. See God the only Truth, tear the veil of appearances and look through. Seek no more for God somewhere, but see Him everywhere. Stand gloriously free in Godhead.
Let there burst forth from your eyes that strange dawn of new-consciousness and express spiritual beauty through your life and ideal, connecting yourself with the Supreme Source. Thirst for peace and drink the pure nectar of real freedom in the life of Truth. God is the one substance whose power is unlimited. He dwells everywhere and in everything. He forms the background of our individual spirit and possesses eternal knowledge. Ne is the Soul of our Souls.
We should meditate on Him and worship Him; then we shall understand the relation between spirit and matter. Ne is the one source of intelligence amid insentient matter. He makes that one substance appear as many and fulfills all desires dwelling within the hearts of all creatures. Whoever realized Him in his soul attains eternal bliss even in this life. The infinite and eternal Truth, Brahman, pervades the whole universe,the visible and invisible. If the visible is taken away, (if the perceptible phenomena is destroyed) that which will be left is the Infinite. May we realize the Infinite in this life; may we attain to that truth and enjoy peace forever. Peace, peace, peace to all living creatures.
By the light of sacchidananda we can see God close to our souls. Perfect happiness comes and all fear is conquered when self-knowledge is gained. The light of self-knowledge dispels the darkness of ignorance and frees us from fear, sorrow, misery, birth and death, as also from bondage, imperfection and delusion, which proceeds from ignorance. You are a part of Divinity Feel it, realize it and all ties will drop away and you will be free. The attainment of this freedom through self-knowledge will bring to you the realization of your oneness with Divinity. It will be difficult for those who have not attained samadhi to grasp this truth. Intellectual knowledge will not reveal the self. We must learn the method of going beyond intellect and rise above the realm of thoughts, if we wish to realize the absolute self or Atman. Intellectual apprehension being relative and imperfect cannot transcend the limits of phenomena and cannot reach the sphere of the absolute. Therefore it is said, “He who thinks he knows the Self knows it not.”
